A very un-restored Packard 4M-2500 engine with a Delco-Remy starter and solenoid.

Delco-Remy would have supplied 12,700 starters, solenoids and generators for the Packard PT Boat engine.

A very rusty starter solenoid along with the starter that is in somewhat better shape.

This is Delco-Remy Model 824, Serial Number 7826 and is 24 VDC.
