The three page document below tells the story of how Delco-Remy, in late 1940 or early 1941, provided with U.S. Army Signal Corps the only successful radio noise suppression filter up to that date.  This technology went into production and was not only supplied to General Motors Divisions providing vehicles to the Army, but other companies outside GM.  There is more to the story about grounding vehicle components to help solve the problem of radio noise in the document.
