Delco-Remy had to compete to attract the best college graduates in order to fill vacancies and new positions in all of the salaried areas described in this brochure.  This was at a time when it was becoming more difficult to attract the best candidates, as many were opting for the more glorious appearing jobs in the growing electronics industry, especially in California.  Getting someone to move to Anderson, IN was not the easiest task.
